MEDIEVAL GLAMPING TENTS

Our medieval glamping tents have Mettingham castle gatehouse views, set in a peaceful, idyllic location close to Suffolk town of Bungay. Each tent its decorated uniquely to the highest standard, 'Somerton' offers an unusual yet romantic getaway for 2 adults, as well as 'Dussindale' & 'Hanover' that offers family fun for upto 5.  Tollgate & Goldwell caters for up to 8 (2 double beds & 4 bunk beds) so come with friends!

The glampsite can be booked exclusively, catering for up to 36 people (overflow tents can be set up when booking a glamping tent, raising the booking numbers dramatically)!

Glamping tents range from £70 - £150 per night

The glampsite faces East, so the beautiful Suffolk sunrises can not be missed from your tent and to watch the sunset each evening from your decking is an added bonus, as the Waveney districts pink skies are an artists dream to paint.

Each tent has its own bench and table for alfresco dining, situated on your own private decking with a gas barbecue for cooking (including gas bottle for hire).

Each tent has a double bed (Tollgate & Goldwell have two per tent), as well as futons or single beds, subject to which tent you book.  These beds come fully made, with 100% cotton linens and duvets included. Each tent has either futons or chairs to sit on, rugs on the floor, a wood burner, chests and sideboards to house the cutlery provided.  We also supply plates/cups/saucepans so all you need to do is turn up!

We agree to overflow tents when booking a glamping tent, if we can not fit all your family needs into one tent!  The glamping tents are non electric, but we also provide battery and solar powered lighting for the inside and outside of your tent, creating a really romantic feel for the adults and an exciting magical experience for your children.

Showers, toilets, water points are on site, as well as a 'delivery to tent' farm shop available. You can park your car in the private car park which can be seen from your tent.

The grounds extend to over 14 acres and we are happy for guests to walk around the fields to meet the various animals.  We are dog friendly, so pooches can come too if led responsibly.  We can also provide stabling for your horses, alongside a large paddock and ménage to school your horse.

The Waveney district offers excellent cycle and walking routes, as well as being only a mile away from the Broads.  The town of Bungay, with 7 pubs is only a short walk away, as is a petrol station and supermarket.
