CASTLEVIEW COTTAGE

Tucked out of the way in a secluded part of Bungay, you will discover the charming Suffolk holiday hideaway that is CastleView Cottage. Located right next to the majestic Mettingham Castle, this property features traditionally elegant decour throughout, providing a relaxing and enjoyable break. You are welcomed into CastleView Cottage through the hallway, which leads onto the calming living room, open plan kitchen and dining area. Up a flight of carpeted stairs on the first floor is the nursery, family bathroom, twin bedroom and master bedroom. Surrounding the property is the truly picturesque farm landscape, including stables to bring your horses with you should you have them. Outside the front of the property is off-road parking.

The cottage ranges from £500 per week (Long weekends/mid week stays available)
The cottage has 1 Kingsize bedroom in French Rococo style.  The duel aspect twin bedroom, that can be made into a kingsize bed and a vibrant farmyard painted nursery, that has a single junior day bed (Travel cots & high chairs available).

 

The vintage country kitchen with open plan dining area leads onto the cosy living room.  Two comfortable sofas seating up to five people, a chest coffee table (hiding various games), flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player built in and a pretty wood burning stove.

 

Towels, dressing gowns, slippers are included. As are 100% cotton bed linen, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine, home-made chutneys and fresh eggs to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

 

Amenities/Facilities: Barbecue, Parking, Garden. Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer, Hob/Stove, Iron, Microwave, Oven, Washing Machine. Central Heating, Cot, High Chair, Internet Access, Satellite, TV.  Farm shop delivery prior and during stay.

 

CastleView has its own private garden looking at the medieval gatehouse, with gazebo, table and chairs and BBQ.  We are dog friendly and can also provide stabling for your horses, alongside a large paddock and ménage.
